   • Earlier tonight to the bloated corpse of Flatlands was discovered on the banks of the river Witham. While a final statement has yet to be release, it is understood the entity know as 'Flatlands' has ceased to be and 4/5 of the mass may well produce further expulsions, it has been acknowledged that any further output beyond a farewell missive is unlikely.
     
     Thanks to anyone who gave a fuck over the past 5 or so years.

      Adam wasn't enjoying it anymore and quit.
      Me Stu and Mike want to carry on being in a band (Fred was poncing it up watching Hamlet during the meeting so we're not sure if he's in) but it won't be Flatlands anymore.
      We're hoping to record the last song we wrote as a thank you/look how awesome we were mesage and give it away, even though if it were priced in proportion to it's awesomeness we'd have to charge £238 for it.
      
      Edit - the new song is and has always, spookily, been called 'Witham Without You'.

    • ffs that's a bit rubbish, missed the last gig in glasgow, in the cap's rest of all places, as was away being hounded by street traders in morocco. Really enjoyed the gig at the 13th note last year though, was quite a night!
