    • Its the back page of Gearhead magazine issue 9. Was a really cool magazine that came with a free 7" vinyl of Mudhoney one side and Dave Allen and the Arrows on the other. Theres a review of QOTSA first album in there too. I think they used to be in the same office as Mans Ruin at the time

    • I've got Dessert sessions 1 and 2, 3 and 4 and the QOTSA/Beaver slip all in Mans Ruin CD versions, might consider for some decent cash

I think JJ The Obelisk is currently throttling all manner of second-dealers across the US for the 1&2 vinyl.

    • Ahhh, the good old days...rose tinted specs a go-go. As already stated, there was some proper shite on Mans Ruin aswell as the more celebrated gems.
I remember foolishly buying the Vectors 10" around this time purely because it was cheap and on Man's Ruin; it was a right old heap of doo-doo.
Top MR release? Probably Alabama Thunderpussy's River City Revival.

    • Best releases for me are:

The Art of Self Defense by High On Fire
      Constellation by Alabama Thunderpussy
      Supercollider by Cavity

The Desert Sessions are worth a fair bit I think. I have 1&2 on CD, the Kyuss split CD, plus vinyls... Fu Manchu, Nebula, Melvins, Kyuss...
