Good people of Sheffield - hospitality needed

    • Morning Sheffield folk. As you may know we're gracing your fair city with out presence on Thursday April 8th on our tour with Sun Gods in Exile. We've had the very kind offoer of a rehearsal room to crash in for the night but wonder if any kind souls may be able to put us up for the night. There will be three Grifter people, four Sun Gods people (Americans but don't let that put you off) and the very lovely Jack D who is driving us around. A bit of floor space and maybe a cup of tea and a shower in the morning would be so appreciated (and I guess free entry into the gig is a given). If 8 hairy, burly men seems too much we're happy to be split up.

      Cheers folks!!! :D

    • And likewise if anyone in the Birmingham region can put up 4-5 people that would also be greatly appreciated.
    • OllieOllie
    • I should mention we're very clean, respectable and house trained.

    • That reminds me - I also need likewise on the 14th! Only two of us!

      Sorry to interrupt, carry on.

    • I can put you up Rob if all else fails, its only a few exits on the M1.

    • Or does anyone know any good but incredibly cheap hostels?

There aren't any Waitrose's in the Grim North are there? That's why it's grim, you just can't get a decent smoked salmon and rocket on sundried tomato bread sarnie. ;)

    • Do you have super markets in chudliegh? Isn't Ol' bobs corner storrrreeee!
    • OllieOllie
    • I'll have you know we have a very well stocked Co-op (often frequented by members of Electric Wizard) and a Solo Store which is kind of a scabby, downmarket version of a supermarket...more like a mediocremarket as opposed to super. We also have a butcher and a baker (but alas no candlestick maker), a hardware store, 3 hairdressers, 2 charity shops, a pet shop, a vet, a chemist, a picture framer, a shop selling overpriced trinkets and clothing for old women, a chinese, a chippy, a kebab/burger shop, a greengrocer, 2 doctors, a junk shop, an antique shop, a cafe, a delicatessen, a carpenter, a newsagent, a garden centre, a gym, a 2nd hand clothes store, a post office, 3 estate agents, 5 pubs (6 if you count the Highwayman's Haunt just out of town) and a few other things that escape my memory...we've fucking got it all here mate. It's practically a metropolis in miniature!!!

    • I may now not be able to help out I'm afraid as I'm moving soon. Sorry.

I'll have a think about cheap places to stay in case you don't get anywhere and post them here, although I'm internetless at the moment until my computer's fixed.
