    • OllieOllie
    • I know...seems a bit optimistic but I believe he has a plan so pretty much everything is set up in advance. We shall see on the day I guess.
    • OllieOllie
    • We'll either be on fire or totally fucked from playing Leeds the night before

    • Gigs that finish at 10. Fucking Bollocks.
Think I'll probably go anyway though.

Really??? I've not heard that...it is a bummer if that's true as, apart from Goblin they're the only other band I was interested in seeing. Maybe it's because they've been stuck on under Symphony Cult who are something to do with the promoter I believe, he manages them I think. Might be good for us though as it may change the times slightly.

    • I have connections in the genitourinary underground so dunno if it's official yet.

You and GU were the only bands I was really interested in though I think the first lot might be friends of a pal of mine. I've not heard OG yet but I saw one of big Bens other bands a while back and my boat was not floated.

You might like OG, they're nothing like Ravens Creed who I presume you're talking about who are more old school thrash. OG are pretty much full on stoner/doom metal type stuff. I have to say hey are an awesome live band if the last gig I saw and all the reviews I've read recently are anything to go by.

    • Yeah that was it. Ravens Creed. Didn't like 'em. Looking forward to OG now then from your description.
    • OllieOllie
    • Hmm, according to their Myspace this is true...something to do with the drummer's arse, a broom stick and a witch!!! We'll have to see how it's all working out on the day.

Dirty biker metal...a few grooves, plenty of rock and they've been known to cover AC/DC, ZZ Top, The Damned, The Misfits...etc

    • Always a great band to watch. Think I've seen them a few to many times though and the sheen has worn off.

I've only seen them a couple of times in the last 5 years or so so always good to see them. Come down and see us instead Don, we could do with the support...and it's Jack's birthday!!!!

I would be well happy with some ZZ Top covers.

They did Just Got Paid on the Thieving From the House of God album, complete with slide guitar. They did it when I saw them in Exeter a few years back as well. They did some AC/DC when I saw the 10th anniversary show.
