The England SOCCER Kit.

    • I’m with the small group of people that like it. Is it the love of 70’s rock that makes me love this 70’s looking kit? What do the people of NINEHERTZ think?

I will be missing tomorrows game as I’m rocking with the TREB. That’s how awesome the TREB are…..although there are highlights on at 10.45..which is good.

      Valid point Mr Hopkins....anymore?

    • I really like it- takes a little bit of getting used too though. Was at the game on saturday and thought it was class.

Heavy Metal Jim was at the game. He was high when he walked into the stadium. He said it blew his mind.

    • i like it too - it looks proper 1940s. i'm waiting for them to start playing with one of those massive brown leather balls with laces on the outside.

it harks back to a more honest age in football where men were men and wouldn't think twice about taking the pitch with a broken collarbone and a dislocated mandible.

    • I have no interest in international football unless en-glands are losing.

    • I'm not fussed either way, a change is good, there's only so many times you can alter the white and blue and red. Nowt wrong with a bit of retro now and again. It's going to be tough for the daz doorstep challenge though.

Last night at work i got asked if i'm buying it, i said i don't wear footy shirts thesedays, i got told i'm therefore gay! (by an over 50 year old).
    • noonenoone
    • Coming out as gay to your work mates is probably a lot easier than admitting you support Chesterfield I would've thought.
    • EggyEggy
    • the bloke who called me that "supports" CFC. He has a tattoo of CFC which he had years since when he used to go to saltergate regular. Then when we got promotion a few years since he got told off for standing in the aisle so he's never been to a game since and now supports Chelsea. He still reckons he supports chesterfield but never intends to go to a game again.

He used to have a Bulgaria shirt with Berbatov's name on, but he got rid of it when Berbatov went to Man U. He's a legend.

      {shit i thought we'd conceded then :argh: )

    • I'm not sure on it... Looks like a cricket shirt.

    • And where did the dark blue shorts go?

Looked like it's going to be a while before we play you again. Unless we get to beat you in the FA cup again next season. :P
    • noonenoone
    • every time we set foot on the pitch we fall further from a chance of the play offs.
It's really depressing considering we were hovering around 5th or 6th place for so long.
Another season in the blue square will probably only serve to anchor us there for the next few years.

    • It would look better if the players started wearing those MASSIVE shorts from the days when Blackpool dominated football. Personally, I don't care for it but it's not me they've got to convince - I don't buy footy shirts.

And that's another thing. It's FOOTBALL, not bloody soccer. Jeez.... :cigar:

I call it SOCCER as I'm now a HUGE fan of the MLS.

Damn Wizards... 0 and 2...0 and bloody 2.

the offence is fine it's just the defence. OUR keeper broke the record for the ALL TIME number of saves on Saturday..ha ha..STATS.

There was a great programe on 5 live last night all about the 1982 world cup. It ran for an hour and a half.

An old french player was being interviewed and got a bit emotional when talking about dirty Schumacher.

    • Patrick Battiston?

He was the one who got done over by Schumacher.

      One his colleagues.

“Schumacher has met Battiston three times since the murderous act, he has not yet said sorry, it is a crime” or something along those lines.

He then went about WW I and WW II.

The host had to cut him short.
