     It was fucking funny. I was listening to the podcast on the bus and was creasing up so much I was getting funny looks. Obviously it sucks for manuel and I can totally understand him being totally upset and offended, and ross and brand getting a telling off.
     
     BUT, this would all have been forgetten about and they'd be getting back to normal again if the media hadn't picked up on it and made it the biggest fucking story of all time. I think the media owe more of a fucking apology to sachs (whose grand daughter is FIT and a fucking money grabber).
     
     Talk about a slow news week and cunts with nothing better to do that complain after the fact.
     
     Also might not be a popular opinion but I fucking love russell brand. I'd probably shag him.

   • i think russell brand's fucking funny too. johnathan ross is a bit of an irrelevance these days. i haven't heard it although i do think he's (sachs) making a bit of a fuss.
     
     my public statement would be "i think they're both massive cocks with liars' tongues" and that would be an end of it.

      Seriously whats worse is the woman who found her 4 year old doing it didn't take it to the vets and it died about 6 hours later after fitting, I hate to imagine the pain it went through.
      
      Oh yeah and she proceeded to chuck it in a bin outside and then lied to the RSPCA that it died of leukemia.

    • not funny and childish, but no more than a telling off. them getting suspended is shameful reactionary bollocks fuelled by the daily mail because of their distaste of Brand. it only received the complaints it did after they picked up the story - 2 complaints after the show, 18,000 after the mail no-brainers read about it.

    • To be fair, Carey, they weren't really prank calls. They both say who they are in them, and the original intention was to give Sachs a bit of a ribbing for cancelling his appearance on the show. Then, in the first one, Ross says "Brand fucked your granddaughter". The rest of that call, and the three others are pretty much Brand trying to apologise and Ross making him crack up.
      I agree it's unpleasant and antisocial, but it's hardly worth the ludicrous bandwagon that has followed. And frankly, I have no sympathy with anyone who has chosen to sleep with Russell Brand. The man's an arse.
