   • I know we've had this before, but a song is troubling me...
     
     I absoultely HATE Red Hot Chili Peppers, yet a song has been on the radio at work and I have had to come to terms with the fact thta... I like it.
     
     It's a song called Dani California. The verses etc sound like boring RHCP forumla, but I have to admit to meself I sing a long to the chorus.
     
     ARGH!
     
     I still detest this band, I must state here, but anyone else have this type of thing? I'm not just talking bands you shouldn't like, or bands that are a bit crap - I mean bands that you detest thoughout your bones and blood and flesh and muscles.

   • Strangely I quite like that Katie Perry song I Kissed a Girl. Haven't heard any of her other stuff but suspect it may be shit. I think it appeals to my pervy nature and it helps that she's a bit of a looker.

   • I can't help quite liking some of the Liam songs, eg Rock n Roll star - makes me a twat I know, but hey! On the other hand the ones where Noel tries to sound all meaningful like Don't Look Back in Anger make me want to vomit through mine own eyes

      i'm also on j's side in that i think that they're both bell ends. liam has far less "opinions" as well.

    • Aquiesce or however its spelt shows how good Noel sounds, and Sunday Morning Call too, better lyricist, remember Liam wrote "Little James" with such lines as-

      I can think of a couple of bands that I'm very good friends with as individuals but strongly dislike their music...

    • I was trying to think of a band i hate but a song i like on sunday morning when i couldn't sleep, i couldn't think of anyone i hate. possible contenders though were oasis 'live forever', james 'sit down', spineshank 'new disease' - i bought their album years back as i liked that song but the rest was shit, and on a similar vein American Head Charge 'Just So You Know'
      
      There's many bands i'm not fussed about but to say i actually hate a band but like a song is hard for me to say, most of the time i liked the song before i had an opinion on the band.
