    • I'm a phone call away from going. I just wish people would reply to my messages rather than leaving things until the day of. Wanna see PF, and experience Nebula. And obviously FF (again).

Hear ya on that one! It's a tad annoying when things are left until the last minute.....

    • I fear the problem is that Orange Goblin are playing at rock city tonight also. I'd prefer to go to corp which i might still do.

I saw orange goblin a couple of years ago, not seen Nebula before, and of course Nebula are playing notts in a few days - when i'm back at work..

      Usual bus cometh situation.

    • Saw Orange Goblin many years back in Sheffield with Sunn & Goatsnake, not seen em since. Prefer their earlky stuff anyway to be honest.

Seen Nebula a few times - always good live. Be check out the other bands live tonight as well.

    • OG are at Old angel, aren't they?

      yep

    • Well i appear to be making a habit of not seeing a full PF set. FF are one of my favourite british bands too, so no problem with those two supports. As i assumed my mate is staying in nott'm tonight to see OG.

I hate these type of desicions, but it's decided i'm going to sheff.

      Good decision

    • We (I, Carey, Eggy) were stood there trying to guess which person was Smockboy25. Next time we need to meet up properly.

      Quick review...

I Pariah - missed em, sorry

Freezing Fog - very short set, but forgot how good their old stuff is. New stuff doesn't sound as good, but need more time to assess.

Pilgrim Fathers - WOW. Best set by any band I've seen this year, excluding Roadburn. Simply amazing.

Nebula - Good. Never gonna top PF (who themselves I still need convincing of on record) live today, but still fun, and ending with two off Dos EPs was a thrill.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I wish I could have seen Pilgrim Fathers but £13 for a gig makes me feel sick.

The ferrets were awesome, but I was troubled by their presence in a busy beer garden to be honest. I don't profess to know much about ferrets, but do they like that sort of thing?

    • Did you not pay more than that for the Melvins?

Yup, and Biohazard. But, you know...Pilgrim Fathers play for a fiver all the time.
