      to which ones? :P
    • Rob HimselfRob Himself
    • As a bare minimum, David Starkey.

Last song, big sing along. As it is written, so shall it be.
    • CareyCarey
    • sorted, i already know the words to that. post the lyrics, we can all get involved. and pleeeeease play late night asda romance?

    • Ode To David Starkey

William The Conqueror it won’t be long before
Hastings makes light of your name
Giftshops sell elegant t-shirts as evidence
      Market our battles in vain
Outside the churches I find myself searching for pre-Reformation debris These Lutheran speeches so covered in leeches
Their words lose all impact today.

And as I raise my pen to take down everything I’ve heard
It’s all my withered faculties deserve.

Running and calling down stately home hallways
      Do children consider the past?
A knackered old book gets a cursory look
But I doubt that the interest will last.
A daytrip to Calais, a worksheet, an essay
But I am to old to recall
How I packed my bag and thanked my Dad
      For taking me to school.

And as I raise ten thousand hands from here to ancient Rome
Me and David Starkey ride our time-machine back home.
And we will not stop learning when we board that bus back home
And we will rule the classrooms with a lesson all our own.

We will rule the classrooms on our own.

THREE HUNDRED WORDS ON MY DESK BY MONDAY OR I'LL HAVE YOUR (ROB HIMSELF) BADGE!

in that case you HAVE to! it's my favourite...
    • Rob HimselfRob Himself
    • I'll have to do some lyric-learning of my own then.
    • CareyCarey
    • it's an easy one...
    • Rob HimselfRob Himself
    • Been practicing it just for you and it came back to me pretty quickly. Written a new song in a similar lyrical vein which has a very similar line about being big in Japan, so this will definitely be the last hurrah :p

    • Tour starts tonight in Bournemouth. Still no EPs, grr. Excited though! :)
