ooh exciting. where abouts is it?

think we may have used taylor & emmet (tho not sure). whoever it was had a tendancy to go on holiay instead of sending off for the searches.

    • Nether Edge. You were with Blundells, weren't you? Taylor and Emmet are their default solicitors.

    • We found out today that our house won't be ready for the 18th like they said before and will now be at the end of the month.
Problem is we have to be out of here by the 15th :(
Luckily our housing people are quite reasonable and have put us up for another month but in another flat. It's quite nice cos its in a new build.
Just a ball-ache we'll have to move twice in so many weeks :(

    • It was Attey's and Taylor. Basically all the lot of them are pretty slack and need constant hassling to get anything done. And don't try and sort the mortgage yourself it's a nightmare, get a broker to do it.

      This.
Even then there is a LOT of paperwork with stupid page long explanations of words that are only used once to cover their arses.

I know a few people from T&E, only in family though. I'd love to say my name carries some weight.

      The first one.

    • Cool... Taylor and Emmett have a really god reputation for conveyancing. The people we bought off were with them and although they were responsible for everything taking a week longer than it needed to it could quite easily have been the vendors themselves.

Atteys were really good for us... although they were just Taylor's in them days. Having said that we were happy for it to take a while so what ben said might be true.

      Good Luck
