    • I'd guess they were worth £20-40 each at the least.

      I'm out.

    • 60 quid the lot?
    •  noonenoone
    • I'd say a 7'' about 3 quid and a 12'' between 6 and 8 quid.
      Vinyl is not expensive to produce, even coloured ones.

      would you charge 60 quid for 8 lps?
    •  ChrisSDChrisSD
    • Yes.

      2xLP = £11
      x4 = £44

      Postage these days for that would doubtless be £10 at least. I'd wager more.

      TOTAL = £54

      As the records are pretty damn limited & possibly sold out in those specific colours, I'd say Seldon's £10 is a tenner well earned!

      i agree with that. i don't get people who just collect it. i like the odd rare thing - like i bought helen the out of print circle takes the square/pg.99 split for her b'day, and there's a couple of other things i'd like. but i think that's more that i love the band and if i didn't collect that particular vinyl i actually wouldn't be able to own the record on vinyl 'cause it wasn't around anymore.

      there was some dude i found a link to that had every pelican vinyl. ever. every album, every colour, every country's licensed version in every colour, test press, tour version... the lot. absolute madness!! i suppose the only thing you can say is it could act as a 'nest egg' - if you ever wanted to get rid of it like 10-15 years later you'd probably fetch a HUGE amount of money from some equally mental person.
