been listening to far to much recently with itunes set on random. highlights have been:
razor x productions, burzum, krallice, baphomets horns, botch, taint, kevin ayres, leviathan, vex'd, scorn (upset my neighbour that one), benga, the hold that thoughts, pelt, gore beyond necropsy, harvey milk (a day without them is like a day without sunshine) keelhaul, candlemass, leonard cohen, swans and much more...
Black Ice is deffo in the top 5 of this year. I've listened to it about 4 or 5 times but it just sounds so familiar and comfortable, like an old pair of slippers

I was impressed enough to watch the Brian Johnson era disc of the Plug It In DVD set.
Hahahaha! Rich, you just shone a little bit of sunlight on my day.
np. lots of random promo cds cos everything's boxed up for moving!
you're totally welcome.
15 years and it comes as a total shitter. i still think it'll get pulled minutes before it's official release as axl will have a paddy about it.
it can never, ever recoup what's been spent on it...surely...
*sigh*
the time/money that's gone in was to make 3 albums, not 1. that's why it's 10 years late, and the fact that he can't keep a band of contractors together so feels the need to re-record things again
it's not the best song though, bit bemused why they chose it, it's just a 4 chord wash-out. oh well
I remember feeling bad when Angel Down came out, and I realised that Seb Bach was nothing without skid row. It's hard Chris, but you'll realise that Axl is nothing without G'n'R.
Go listen to some Alter Bridge. You'll like it mate, I promise.
Angel Down was horrible. Felt bad for the little fella. Listened to Use your illusions II at the weekend (the one I had growing up as a kid), awesome album.
