That was mistake...I had to leave it. My stomach started to contract. I think Carey ended up drinking it about 5 hours later...while being called a GYPSY.
I got stuck with the Berserkowitz drummer at the bar. Talked about The Wire (which I've never seen - a source of some amazement on his part) and something called Assy McGee for some time. It was a very one-sided conversation, I think I was the only sober person in the building.
That was a whole lot of fun. Highlights for me included:
Finally meeting Mazz
Catching up with loads of people
The red T-shirt gang
The Rowing
Electric Mud Generator, with and without Tim
Bow Street Bastards
Koresh not needing vocal PA....
Steve's antics
Thanks to everyone who came down, all the bands and the people at the Shakey for making it such an unforgettable day!
I told the singer/guitarist from Electric Mud Generator that their 2nd song reminded me of SKYCLAD. He seemed pleased…I’m glad he was as it was a compliment. I remember telling someone else this and they laughed. What’s the beef with SKYCLAD?

The Red T-Shirt gang was pretty strange. We looked like three special people being taken out for the day by our 'helper'....Amy
