This morning I blasted UFO "Strangers in the Night" live album in the car. Sarah asked me if it was Rainbow...bless her.

Don't worry mate, that's pretty good for an other-half. Kirst once exclaimed that Brian May was way better than Jimmy Page. Since that moment I pretty much gave up converting her to the riff-righteous aspects of life.

Strangers in the Night is so awesome it should be knighted... yeah.

More Sword, some Astra, Pantera and Mastodon - Remission.

I'm a massive fan of Load and Reload. Much to most of my friends' dismay. Between the 2 albums there are some cracking tunes. They got their groove on here.

take them as 2 stand alone albums and between them, there's a decent album in there, but compared to their previous output, it's a different band

as for street anger, that's just shite

    • V/A: Axe Attack Volume 2.

Quality metal comp from the early 80s, first album I bought. Includes 'The Zoo' by the Scorpions; a headbanging motherfucker of a tune just begging to be covered.

I also need to get me the Trippy back catalogue from asuitable vendor near me...

Eyehategod - Take As Needed For Pain

I seriously can't stop listening to the opening riff from "Blank" - it pretty much defines the genre then crushes with brute power, bass, doom and screaming.
