     That would take it from red to black and much more like the DH runs. that vid is supposed to be made into part of the XC track.
     
     I'm tempted to get the sleeper train. leaves Sheffield at 9pm, gets to Fort William at 10am the next day. back on a train at 8pm and i get back in to sheff at 8am.

   • The sleeper's a bit pricey isn't it? My nan lives in Fort William and I keep thinking that would be the best way to get there but then decide it's too expensive. It's cheaper to drive (but is a fucking long way).

     its not cheap but as i dont own a car and can sleep most of the way there and back it works out much better

   • I almost always do now, the amount of times I hit my face especially the last two years wearing a full face I'd be be dead by now. Still managed to concuss myself a few times even with a full face on too. Unfortunately for dirt jumping I have to wear a piss pot as I can't see enough with a full face on, makes it really hard to judge trails but I just hope for the best.

   • Just watched the vid. Don't think it's the same trail but there's a similar one that runs beneath the cable car up part of Ben Nevis which I've always thought looks pretty crazy. I think I'll stick to the cable car.

      Saturday: Ride my mountain bike, get faster on the 4x track and try out my new helmet, hopefully not actually 'try it out' just wear it
      
      Sunday: Band practice with an awesome drummer called Brad and an assorted bunch of peeps I've not met yet

    • Today I mostly injured myself, went down hard around a corner riding my bike, rear tyre blew out. I now have gnarly gash on arm and leg. Trying to rail corners with a surface like sand is a tad risky. I still have sand in my teeth
