    • pull-my-plonkerpull-my-plonker
    • Man Of Kin - Lock and Load

The band shoved this in my hands last night, and it sounds... average.

    • Sunn O))) - Monoliths & Dimensions - in the car - speakers a flappin! Worthy of all the hype and shock horror some variation!

    • Megadeth - So Far, So Good, So What

A thoroughly retarded album, in every sense, but that still doesn't stop it being kickass.

I saw that in HMV yesterday. I assumed it was a joke of some kind.

Death Cab For Cutie - Meet Me On The Equinox, track off the, sigh, New Moon soundtrack, but it pisses on a considerable chunk of their recent output.

Great album, nice variation on Pilgrimage, as ever with Om bit on short side.

Would be good if they supported Sunn on the other UK dates they're doing in December as well as the London date.

    • Frank Turner - Poetry Of The Deed

I know this is going to sound a little unfair coming from me, but this is distinctly average and not particularly memorable. I may even go as far to say it's boring the tits off me.

    • Tool - Lateralus
Metallica - Year and a half in the life of video part 2
ELP - Pictures at an Exhibition
      Diamond Head - Borrowed Time

and Ripper Owens - Play My Game - which is brilliant stuff, but then again I expected nothing less...

As did I. I just spotified it and laughed for the first 30 seconds and then had to turn it off after a minute.

I don't get that album at all. It's not the sort of genre that anyone into rock music would ordinarily listen to, so I don't understand why everyone thinks it's great. It just sounds like Mexican restaurant muzak to me.

Anyway, so far on tour I have been listening to:

      Gallows - Grey Britain
Interpol - Our Love To Admire
Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American
Million Dead - Harmony No Harmony
Harvey Danger - Where Have All The Merrymakers Gone?
    • Rob HimselfRob Himself
    • Get Up Kids - On A Wire

Another band I would have loved at college if I'd bothered checking them out.
    • Tim HolehouseTim Holehouse
    • Faith no more- king for a day fool for a lifetime.

Love this record I think its my favourite thing they did...
