   • Just started watching The Wire Season 1. About 5 episodes in, and this is some quality quality TV. Good slow burning plotting and nice attention to detail.
     
     Up there with Deadwood and Battlestar Galactica. Patiently waiting for BSG season 4 to become available in its entireity.
     
     Anyone ever watch the cancelled HBO series Carnivalle? It got two seasons then got canned. It was very good Twin Peaks-esque stuff about a travelling freak show.
     
     Besides the above recent TV has been mostly absolute crap.

    • been watching films this week, The Colour of money, and last night X-men - the last stand. Didn't enjoy the latter and much as the previous xmen film, although i had to keep pausing it as the cat was being a pest.
      
      I might start watching BSG next, i have the mini-series, and still have series one which i'm supposed to be selling for a mate.

      Monkeys just love wearing clothes and waiting on people. I was surprised to see the BBC stoop so low when I came across that.
