Erm, am struggling to think of bands that aren't across the pond. Although The Freezing Fog is a great shout! Great band, brilliant live, and I bet they'd be up for it!
will check these out. Now what else does this event need that will make it stick in the memory, I always think the main things are good bands, good sound, good ticket price etc but anything else? We're planning on having an underdog poster exhibition in the venue which should be cool
Maybe invite small labels/distros to have stalls. If it's at the Gaff there's the bigger room towards the back that would be good for that. Plus it would take up that space and push people towards the bands more.
Tattoos would be a laugh but I doubt Brad would go for that, I think he's quite careful about making sure people want stuff etc A few drinks down and someone might do something they regret. Distros definitely a good idea
