    • I worked last night but it would appear i've trapped a never in my back so was in a fair amount of pain, given the week i've had i've rang in sick tonight, i think i must have gone almost a whole year without a day off so rhubarb to them, normally i'd work to try and ease the pain with stuff but i just don't feel like work this week.

Supposed to be going karting tomorrow as part II of the stag do, think i'm gonna have a few pain killers and grin and bare it, then resume work on sunday night.

Other than that no plans this weekend, initially i wanted to go to L. Blackstar gig in notts tonight, but gonna give it a miss now.

    • We just had band practise and its amazing what a wee bit of distortion can do... my acoustic stuff is sounding erm not acoustic... more like lungfish meets ac/dc... how weird! The new back up group are fucking ace too... so I've had a I'm chuffed as nutz weekend.

    • I'm finally out of Hyde Park, its been a long run, great time though, I did loads of filming on the track on stage and got to do some directing again, cutting for the screens, the band were the phenominal handclap band if anyone is familiar. I've decided thats what Im going to aim for, director, might as well aim high

    • Ah my mates went saw them enough when they where going first time... for a band I'm really not that bothered with 8 times... quite alot of times to see them. I've seen band I love less times than that... ha ha! But my mates enjoyed them.

    • I won a trophy at karting on saturday, finished 3rd out of our group of 9, was doing averagely but then in the final race i seem to acquire an extra blast of speed from somewhere so claimed 3rd place, also the last lap saw me get the 3rd fastest lap of the day out of all that raced that day, so a happier end to my week.

I sang 'love is all around' on karaoke in the evening, with the stag and his now father in law. It was entirely my idea and the only way of getting the stag to sing. :D

Now virtually all my muscles in my body ache from karting, worth it though.

    • Sent my gran on her way today, most of the day hasn't felt like it's really been happening, but everything worked out wonderfully, horse and carriage carried her coffin, many family and friends turned up many of which i wasn't familiar with or hadn't seen for years, and it didn't rain once. Felt so proud of the life she'd had and the people she meant something too.
