This looks like the worst gig I've ever seen.

Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Motley Crue and ZZ Top on the same day is INSANE

      What's wrong with you man?

The Top aside( although I only really like their 70s stuff) the rest of it is fucking gash. I fucking hate Glam metal.

You're gonna love Rock City on saturday when we drag you in the rock for a night of cock rock

    • Ha ha I've opened up a can of worms here havn't I? Don't get me wrong I've got pissed and thrust my pelvis towards some unsuspecting girl while listening to some crap like cherry pie many a time. When Im pissed I fucking dance along to any old shit.
But to sit down and listen to it or buy it or go and see it live. Ohhhh Noooooooo.
Any other glam metal haters wanna back me up here? Seems I'm outnumbered.

    • ahahah it's good for fun. But in honesty, aside from a bit of whitesnake, extreme, skid row and jon bon jovi, there's nothing else glam I particularly listen to on my ipod when I'm out and about. Normally its stoner/doom/hardcore and post punk pop

I got your back, brother. Glam stands for Gay LA Music.

I went to Rock City on Saturday, went to the glam room, and there was no Cherry Pie or owt in all of Christendom. They've changed the Saturday rock night to something else now. What used to be the extreme room was playing You Me At Six.

Mind you, I was gone by 11:30, so maybe it picked up after that.

    • It cracks me up that this bill seems to be at this stage primarily made up of glam and nu metal bands. 2 styles which have largely been considered a laughing stock by the rest of the genre even at the height of their popularity.

    • I have just paid for my ticket. I'm 50% behind this lineup :D

    • I did say that if Faith No More were there then I'd go, but looking at the rest of the line up I really don't think so now.

Dream Theatre, Buckcherry, Billy Talent, and someone I've never heard of have just been announced. Says it all really.

    • Big news is surely Faith No More... first time I've been genuinely surprised to see a band reform.
