Weekend?

    • I've never heard of Ghost Mice and I didn't hear Ghost Mice that night.
It was below average even for a crust band.
I don;t think I'll bother with gigs any more , just left me feeling gutted and swindled the last 3 times I've been to one.

    • come to our next one on the 4th.

    • I'd love to Pete but my soul destroying minimum wage job means I can't go to anything on Sat , Sun or Mon nights.
      Thanks though.

Poor cat, hope you are ok Eggy.

Having already been through losing a cat once it's a bit easier to accept what may happen, but also it's a huge blow to possibly lose two cats in such a short time. As last night went on he perked up a fair bit and looked more like normal - he is trying, but it looks like he's going to have to learn how to eat again, it wasn't until today that he ate or drank anything, and it wasn't much at all then, just a few laps of water/meat. So until he does start eating better it's still touch and go as he obviously needs to eat to regain his strength. Got to go back to the vets on monday anyway for check up so that could well be interesting given what's happened previously.

    • I'm thinking positive thoughts for your cat mate.
I'm certain things will get better.

    • I'm still at work, but I'm on my second glass of champagne, and it's been pretty quiet, so it's not too bad.

    • I was really encouraged last night when he walked into the kitchen towards his dishes, i stroked his back and he walked a bit further, until finally he reached his water, i kept stroking him and he started lapping his water up for what seemed like a minute. I thought i'm not going to stop stroking his back as he might stop, which is eventually what happened. He's also licked the gravy off his meat as well this morning which is also good considering he only has about 3 teeth nowadays.

I don't know whether to worship or despise you.

What was it like? What did you do? Who was there? Tell, tell, tell.

      Oh wow wow wow.

How amazing is that; I'd pay for that alone!!

Were they nice? Did they give you any interesting nuggets of information?

I don't really have a Morrell voodoo doll.

      Or do I....?

If you do please stay away from my liver...its an easy target!
Yeah the whole thing was genuinely really interesting- it is only a small cinema so it was really intimate and learnt loads of good stuff about the show etc. Clark Peters (Lester) and Dominic West were well safe...more than happy to have a chat/beer with you after. Decent and humble guys- well funny both of em too.
And of course I thought the series was pukka too- not as good as season 4 but not far behind!!
We also got a free signed copy of David Simons book and I got em all to sign my dvd. Class.

    • I slept most of Saturday, got up at 8.30 to get a package from the post office which turned out to be the new Moloch 10" which is ace, gave it a spin and went back to bed at 1pm, woke up as Linda got in at 6, waste of a day! Its ok I suppose, recharged me a bit, I hadn't had a proper sleep since we went to Scotland last week, Sunday was food shopping and eating, I need a life and soon.
