i was looking at 206's actually, i could get a 2006 model and performance wise they are better than most newer small hatchbacks as safety features and such like have made most cars that aren't top of the range slower. I wouldn't go for a GTI as i don't want to be paying any more on the insurance than i currently am, if anything i want to reduce the amount i spend on tax and insurance etc. My mate had a 206 a few years back when i had my last clio, both of us prefered my car though.
I did a massive shop on Saturday, I picked up what I thought was a cheap pack of bacon, turned out to be 'cooking bacon' which is basically thin gammon, made amazing bacon sarnies on Sunday! Cheaper than actual bacon too!
