i also love zoos. only nice to animals zoos though. and aquariums.
Prepare for disappointment when you get to the 'invisible spectacled bears' exhibit.... other than that its ace, especially the faeces throwing orang-utans who unerringly target annoying people.
Went out for a meal for Frans birthday in Leeds. Was reet nice.
Unfortunatley my Grandad had died earlier on in the day but I kept a bit quiet about it seeing as it was her birthday and that. He was 89.
I feel bad about not feeling like really sad about it but I think with him living in Oxford and not seeing him very much once we moved up to Sleaford has kinda dulled it a bit.
I know i'm gonna burst when the funeral happens though, I did the same at my grandmas
I had a nice weekend.
Friday I stayed at the missus, we pottered around in the day, I worked in the afternoon & stayed at hers in the eve.
Saturday was her mirthday, she went out with the girls in the day so I saw Hellboy!, which was ok, but not quite as good as the first one. Then we went out to a cottage in Bradfield for the night, had a meal & played cards in the pub.
Today, woke up in cottage & had Sponge pud & custard for breakfast with Anna! Walked around Dam Flask & then I had to go to work where it was deader than a dead thing during the apocalypse. Now I'm drinking shit beer & not feeling sleepy. Tomorrow (monday) is family barbecue day.
I've done very little, worked overtime, went jogging, at far too much pizza and watched too many films round other peoples houses. Also drank a bit too much booze over the whole weekend so having a healthy day today playing RPGs and not drinking.
Friday I went out straight from work, with Ben and Amy, for one or two. I was dancing in my work clothes with Podge and Caroline at a rockabilly disco at midnight...
Saturday I went for a quiet drink with Podge, only for fate to intervene (our destination pub was mysteriously closed) and take us to another pub, where, unbeknownst to us a cock-rock covers band were about to start. They even slipped in the worst ever 'Killing in the Name'. It was gloriously terrible / terribly glorious.
Sunday I did nothing but sit in all day and eat salad.
Today I am making up for that by having been shopping for crap (food wise) - samosas and crisps mainly - then playing football, then getting round to my plan for the whole weekend at last - drinking gin and dancing to Sabbath, until late.
