    • I had an awesome weekend, on Sunday I went to Nottingham, ate a meal with my family in that pub thats built into the castle walls so it looks like a cave, Mazz would love it, its even called Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem!

I then met my brothers very small and incredibly lovely kitten King Tubby, who had bat ears and squeaked alot, my Mum wanted to nick him I was sure.

They stopped doing their Ploughmans. Very disappointing, it was the mightiest salad I've ever seen.

the latter. although i wouldn't have turned my nose up at the former...

mike, king tubby is quite possibly the best name for a kitten ever!

    • His housemates are massive reggae/dub fans, the house was covered in local dub night posters, I agree, best name ever!

    • i fell asleep at work today, only very briefly but it happened

    • I could have fallen asleep at work last night, if i was sat down at all i probably would have.

We loosely planned to go to the neds at doncaster yesterday, about 1pm pete found out the is no neds at donny on a monday so he thought it would just as easy to go to southwell, bearing in mind that i was picking him up at almost 2.30pm and the last race was at 4.45pm. i told him this once he was ready - thought he'd have realised as he did say to me the last race was about 5pm, he was ready at about 2.45, so we aborted all plans and went for a drive in derbyshire, ended up at matlock bath had fish and chips and drove home via wirksworth.

Off to sheffield in a couple of hours, pubs, dogs then casino. I'm off work tonight and i've had more than my fair share of alcohol already this weekend. I've developed a massive beer belly since last friday.

Pete starts his new job next week, managing the re-fit of the ASDA store in Luton of all places.

at least its on the way back, you'd not be late for work. mine was partly caused by midweek drinking, i've now remembered why i never do it

They're the best two. That's actually their second and third albums. The first has some good songs on but has the worst production of any recording ever. Sounds like a bad demo.

Some of the later albums have their moments but they're a different band to what they were back then.
    • EggyEggy
    • thought so. I was singing a bit of everclear to myself at work last night.
