   • That glass guy, if anything, is original, I think its an interesting act, particularly BITING the fucking glass to shatter it! I love innovative stuff like that, Tim told me that he played with this kid who was a complete nerd, then proceeded to go absolutely apeshit with a contact-mic'd metal shelf, you can get some mental sounds out of stuff if you do that.
     
     This guy has just reminded me of Kylie Minoise, guy who strips to the waste, has 2 contact mics, one in his mouth, the other taped to his belly, has two poundland mics and throws himself off PA stacks and smashes the mics. His sets are usually about 5 minutes, think it may have been less when me, fred, podge and eggy saw him in Leeds!

     We have added some more artists to the line up for SUPERSONIC, which include GRAVETEMPLE feat. the living legend that is JULIAN COPE with STEPHEN O"MALLEY of SUNN 0))) fame, OREM OMBARCHI and ATTILA from MAYHEM, joining them on the bill are ASVA and an OSAKA Invasion in the form of DJ SCOTCH EGG, OVE NAXX and a load of other Japanese reprabates.
     They join: BATTLES, HARVEY MILK, EFTERKLANG, HARMONIA, NOXAGT, EARTH, WOODEN SHJIPS, THRONES, OXBOW, JUSTICE YELDMAN, DALEK, ORTHODOX, BLACK SUN, THE OWL SERVICE, MAX TUNDRA, MAGNETAPHONE, PCM, EINSTELLUNG and GUAPO.
     More artists to be confirmed in the next few weeks, with tickets going on sale at the beginning of April.

     Also confirmed are Asva, featuring Stuart Dahlquist (Sunn/Goatsnake/Burning Witch), Trey Spurance (Mr Bungle) and Edgy 59 (vocalist from Burning Witch) who return to our shores for their first shows in two years, and an Osaka Invasion in the form of DJ Scotch Egg, Ove Naxx, and a load of other Japanese acts.
     
     Also confirmed for the event running from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th July are Battles, Harvey Milk, Efterklang, Harmonia, Noxagt, Earth, Wooden Shjips, Thrones, Oxbow, Justice Yeldman, Dalek, Orthodox, Black Sun, The Owl Service, Max Tundra, Magnetaphone, Pcm, Einstellung, and Guapo.
     
     The Supersonic festival aims to be an eclectic and experimental playground where new and emergent talent exhibit their skills alongside established and world-renowned practitioners. Whilst the focus is on experimental music, Supersonic acts as an umbrella for creative practice in any media or art form.
     
     There's also a film programme and exhibitions as well as record and food stalls, flea market, cake and a tequila bar.
     
     Tickets for this event go on sale in April, and prices for tickets will be confirmed when they do.
