   • I've gone for defenders of teams who didn't concede many goals during qualifying, and/or ones who have got assists and or goals. Then i've gone for the strikers who got the most goals and assists during qualification. My captain is polish midfielder Smolarek, who ever he is!

     Early days though, with matches being played gradually it'll probably mean the leader is the person who's got the fewest players left to play in the game week, Wez has 4 to play i have six. Having a polish player as my captain didn't exactly pay off though especially as he also got booked.

    • i made 4 transfers going into the second set of matches (the maximum of free transfers allowed) i needed to free up some coinage so i got rid of ronaldo - therfore he not only scored yesterday but also got 1 or two assists too!

    • well i made 4 transfers going into the 3rd group stage, i brought in deco who was rested yesterday and got rid of koller who scored. I'm currently 2nd though and top of the group in the head to head.
      
      As for me betting on the czech's to win the tournament....at least i've still got portugal (and france) in the sweeps.
