     Tomorrow – visit local sewage works or other local point of interest, Electric Wizard in the evening.
     
     Sunday – food ‘festival’ then maybe see Naked Lunch in the evening.
     
     Phew, this weekend is positively ENGORGED.

   • I'm spending the next 48 hours next to my dog who's just had an operation.
     She's flat out now but I have to make sure she doesn't pull the stitches out when she wakes.
     I'm also fostering a dog for the weekend. He's a huge, people loving mastiff cross who was due to be destroyed this morning but we managed to get him out yesterday afternoon.
     He's so thin it'd make you wanna cry but he'll make a good dog for a patient person.
     I still find it hard to believe what people put animals through.
     I'm calling him Keith , it seems to suit.

    • That dog looks awesome Kev, my mate at work just got himself an Akita, it's about the size of a cat, but I think they grow to dominating sizes.
      
      This weekend is nothing but a mushroom biryani in a filo parcel tonight, then get some clothes in Sheff tomorrow, then play Donny, then play Lincoln and go to work tired Monday, w00t!

    • was tempted to go look at some cars but as i've just done an insurance quote and the cheapest is not far off a grand for a 600 quid car. i think i'll sack that off till i win the pools

      I'll be 30 by then. if i get a car now i can stick the bike in the back and then go riding all over the place. soon as i get a job i'll be back on the motorbike as its far quicker in a morning... well its far quicker all the time but you get what i mean.

      My first ever car insurance on my mums policy for a 1.0 corsa cost me a grand. It was a bloody joke.
      
      Try Bell or Elephant Podge.
      They do a policy called Flexi-bell (pardon the pun) where you get 10 months cover but at the end of it they give you a full years no claims.
      I'm down to around 400 quid fully comp for my 1.6 astra now with 2 years no claims (through them).
      I'm expecting it to drop next year aswell cos I'll be 25.
      
      This weekend I will be working again however I have now put up my holiday snaps for public viewing.

      Cheers for that, i was just basically pricing things up so i knew what kind of money i was looking at.
      
      any suggestions of cars? Eggy says corsas are expensive because they are popular with boy racers. i just want something that cheap
