     I saw those the other day and thought better of it. I bought a pair of grey checkers and some that look like old man slippers instead. I highly recommend the Vans outlet store in ellesmere port for Vanatics. I'm getting quite a collection.
     
     And last night I got the new Big Business album which I am very pleased with thus far. need to keep an eye out for UK dates.

    • i feel a bit naughty cos the strap was not cheap at an extortionate £19! insane! but it looks so fucking cool, i had to have it.
      
      i thought i would transcribe the initial conversation i had with the bloke in the shop because i feel that this is how you deal with people who work in guitar shops as it mixes things up a bit for them:
      
      me: has there been much interest in that pink one?
      
      him: which pink one?
      
      me: the upside downy looking one with the wobble stick...
      
      him: oh the aria...no not really.
      
      me: didn't think so. people are a bit weird about pink guitars...maybe they think they'll look a bit gay.
      
      him: maybe...
      
      me: so, yeah. i don't really give a shit what it sounds like but it looks like it may slim me a little and i may look a bit gay playing it, so i'd like to buy it when i have some money.
      
      him: slim you?
      
      me: yeah, make me look thinner, you know...
      
      him: ok. you can put a deposit on it to hold it for a few days.
      
      me: nah mate, i spunked my last paycheck early this month and i want to start giving money to a donkey sanctuary and go to burger king so i don't have much spare right now. if anyone's interested in it just tell them that it doesn't suit them and sounds a bit shit.
      
      him: ok...i may have to sell it if someone wants it.
      
      me: cool, i'll have some money on friday. lots of money. think about it man.
      
      him: do you want to try it out?
      
      me: yeah, i guess i should just to make sure it feels right.
      
      him: what sort of sound do you like?
      
      me: dunno really, just crank it. we'll see.
      
      [i play "iron man" by black sabbath really badly]
      
      me: that sounds really fat dude. i'll see you on friday, don't sell it to anyone else!
