    • Foot on the kick drum? Make sure your laces don't get snagged before you pull off

as a drummer, i second this as it pushed that bass drum back towards me when its drifted off down the stage. standing on the bass drum is a whole world of wrong though.

i have stopped 2 songs, once with Bumsnogger at the 'Mong album release (due to alcohol consumption) and once with Rachmanite (due to being shit). first one was laughed off by the crowd. second one made everyone go quiet.

i have probably cocked up 75% or more of all songs i have ever played EVER. being a drummer you can get away with it much easier.

I was told to get to the front of the 'stage' more on Saturday. Unfortunately I couldn't move because my kidneys were hurting too much from laughing.

Perhaps you could do it gradually? One song at the front, one song at the back. I can shout at you "Looking Good Will, looking good".

I did really well at not laughing.

    • Why was there mirth at a Trebuchet concert?
      Rocking is a serious business

I hear that. I nearly had to take Will out of the practice room last week to have a little chat about his attitude to the rock and rolls. I was going to first give him some positive feedback, then mention the negative issue, then more positive feedback followed by a double high five.

Very serious. The riffs were on fire and our new song got a really lukewarm reception as it sounds like foreigner. It’s still awesome though. EARTHQUAKE will blow peoples rock balls when it gets played live. People will be crying in the “fucking” streets. Do you hear me?

I forgot another good quote. “I thought you were going to be shit…..you were alright.” Then asked for a snout and gave him a snout. Again I should have said “Go Fuck yourself”.

ha ha! I didn't hear that one. The silence after the new song was incredible. I'm still laughing about that now.

Is it so wrong to stop playing mid-song to do an impression of Gene Simmonds?

It is not. I was the one with the problem. I found this from Saturday.

I think we all use Bumsnogger for life inspiration.
I remember where I was when I first heard Bumsnogger. I was at a studio in a little village called Holt. I think I heard 360 the same night….what a night.

      (sniff) you guys...

    • Holt , the village near Wrexham?
    • Big SiBig Si
    • There's also a village called Holt near Wroxham in Norfolk.

That's my fact for the day.
