Flatlands + Higher Council of Mars + Khuda on Monday

    • Sounds about right... I think we recently snuck past 100 without anyone realising.
    • Big SiBig Si
    • Wrong! The gig on Monday will actually be number 96. Looks like the album launch party could also be the one-oh-oh as well, if we time it right.

    • If we play a gig elsewhere the night before then its doable!

    • i think i've come across it in a boys name, i guess its a bit like Jamie, which is mainly boys but some times girls. wasnt big daddy called Shirley or something? i know John Wayne was called Marion

      Me too!

      Awesome gig!

I'm off to drink more booze now...

    • I was pleased with the way this went, felt like death half the night though, did someone give me a stomach bug?

HCOM have an old-school stoner rock feel to their doom I reckon, reminded me of High on Fire crossed with Eyehategod or something!

Khuda were something new, love the eastern scales and interplay between tom and the drummer.

I really enjoyed our set, cheers to everyone for staying late and heckles are back in vogue it seems!

    • Following on from last night, I seem to have acquired a girl's DC hoody in a dark grey kind of colour. I picked it up with my bag and stuff in my haste to go home and feast on Pringles. Any idea who it might belong to, anyone?
    • PetePete
    • It'll be SarahCareyCarolineKimJenHarrietLaurenorCharlotte's. Maybe.
    • Big SiBig Si
    • Yes.
    • PetePete
    • i am a help.

    • Call the Redhouse and ask about it. Someone might have contacted them.
    • CareyCarey
    • out of pete's helpful list, i'm fairly sure only kim and charlotte are possibilities.

Well, it's in my room now, and it was in the Red House on Monday.

    • bit delayed but a massive thanks to mike and all who attended the gig last monday. we had an absolute blast and it's good to see people enjoyed it. not surprised people think we have a stoner edge considering the amount of bongs and spliffs we toked before we played (and the whole week for that matter). typical blackpool reprobates!!! ;)

the whole tour was cracking for one reason or another. played a couple of ropey shows in bolton and edinburgh but were mainly teething problems with sound and the stress of getting lost. khuda were great throughout even when "BIG TAM!!!" fell ill in lincoln he persevered and was an inspiration to us all.

was a crying shame flatlands couldn't make leeds but what can you do eh? sheffield was a joy regardless. our drummer hasn't taken the flatlands cd out of the car yet. i think it repeated about ten times at least on our way home - ha ha!

again, cheers to all and it was lovely to meet peeps on here in the flesh :D

      peace, love & noise! - o'doom x-x-x
