     I've finished work for the weekend, so i'm off down town this evening for beers. going to see a covers band then on to a birthday party.
     
     Tomorrow it's Freefest in queens park, starts at 11am, finishes at midnight so i may be in a bit of a state, although i doubt we'll get down for the start, what with being out tonight too. Also start of the footy season so i'll be keeping tabs on that when neccesary.
     
     sunday, nothing apart from probably the charity shield, my moneys on portsmouth (4/1). Monday maybe donny races, and tuesday probably sheffield dogs. something like that anyway. I've got tuesday off work too so woo! the downside is i'm working next saturday so won't be seeing clutch in notts. And i have sore throat.
     
     I don't want what my mum has - she has a virus one of the symptoms is an inflamed windpipe so it hurts when she breathes.

     Tomorrow: work, then oop norf to celebrate Mrs Rob getting a job in Maidenhead, thus ending my weekly cross-country jaunts. And then I get to move out of my crapshack!

   • It's the Big Cor Blimey Balloon Fiesta in Bristol this weekend, loads of the buggers all over the place. I'm starting to find it a bit ominious, like The Prisoner or something.
     
     Anyway charity shops tomorrow and maybe some local shoegaze band in the evening, gawp at balloons on Sunday and Henry Rollins on Monday - schweet.

   • I have just woken up and am still drunk.
     
     I popped out for one last night and ended up at some random reggae/dub night in a derelict shop. I stumbled home at 5am very well oiled, thanks to my awesome friends who took pity on me, the pauper.
     
     Now I will find the Guardian and eat a full English and not get dressed all day.
     
     Oh, and I'll clean up some cat sick too.

     Thanks for the reccomendation. TvAnts seems to have Setanta but it's only the news channel at the moment. Maybe I'll just DL it tomorrow.

    • Ended up having a few too many last night and have felt rough at work all day. I was supposed to be going to a scenester house party in Reading tonight but I really can't be bothered so I've just ordered a massive curry which I'm going to pick up in a minute. I'm excited!

      Same here, didn't even get that drunk but had the worst hangover I've had in ages this morning. Slept the day away and now off to get pizza in, watch The Wire and eat the chocolate a solicitor bought me for sorting some stuff out for her at work.

      Judging from the time of your post looks like we had a similar amount to drink. I started drinking at 6.30pm and finished about 4am, had various premium lagers, ciders, gin, vodka, jd and acted like a complete arsehole. Apparently whilst at a birthday party in the early hours i was playing on the wii can't recall that at all. I also scared a fair few people off by talking like satan. oops. Today i've had the worst hangover ever so have been talking in extremely steady on the alcohol.

    • Well I had the stodgiest curry ever on Friday, a lamb masala with far too many eggs in for its own good, me and Linda had a beer each then couldn't move.
      
      Yesterday I went and got more shirts, then went to give Linda her phone as she'd forgotten to take it to work and went to Blackpool. Then Acid Mothers Temple were just amazing, 2 hour set was just right, didn't get boring at all, I actually felt like I was missing out when I went to the bar but it was so packed and warm in that room it was daft, I got really into it and was dancing with hippies that smelled funny (think it was the acid casualty that Aluna fell in love with). But seriously, if any of you are within distance of seeing AMT in the next week, go and see them, just amazing, I saw the two drummers after they were just sat in a back room with their heads in their hands looking like they might die.
      
      That female drummer was tiny! She looked tall onstage, but she walked out and she was really really short!
