     I had a soft spot for Norma Jean. New stuff since the first album and Scrogin's leaving, has been OK, but not great. However this first track off their new album is perfect catchy something-core.
     
     Oh, also updated the SD Myspace player. Go knock yourself out - new tracks up from Analysis Of Bison Kills, Chickenhawk, Black Boned Angel/Nadja & Seven Nautical Miles. Ehnahre track remains the same - if you haven't heard it, do! It features guest vocals by the very fucking awesome Jonah Jenkins. Properly honoured to be releasing something bearing his vocal talents.

      never really ' got ' clutch. Gave it a fair try but couldnt understand the appeal.
      Hows about this for a strange line up though?

    • Clutch's early stuff was way more hardcore in style and feel to their more recent stuff and they used to do a few tours with guys like that so its not a particularly surprising lineup to be honest

      i havent listened to The Holy Bible in ages... such a wicked album.... its such a travesty that pretty much everything theyve done since has been wang.....
      
      whats the anti mother like? Norma Jean are one of those bands that i like the odd track but albumwise they dont really blow my skirt up....... that disconnecktie song was pretty fat though
