    • I still haven't given it a proper spin. I've always been a bit of a believer that it could be good (not quite as much as you Chris!), but I'm not really loving what I'm hearing.

    • It's not the second coming or anything, just a very good album that I've been waiting for for ages

Will track this down soon. I have no expectations, other than it has to be better than Angel Down. So that's setting the bar about as low as you can get...

      Recently been listening to:

      LOTS of Weezer
      Kings of Leon
Megadeth - Rust in Peace (one of the best metal records ever)

    • Angel Down? Heh heh, the savage animal gives Axl 3 tracks, and Axl returns the favour by burying Baz's harmony in the mix with the choir of Axls in the chorus on 'Sorry'

      Trebuchet - Hot Tasty Lady.

She was a HOT (Bang!)...tasty lady
She was crazy, she drove me wild
She was a HOT (Bang!)...tasty lady
Oh dear lord, I think I shall cry.

70s hard rock power trio from Michigan led by guitarist & vocalist Paul Frank who's wild acid rock guitar solo's dominate this great release. Originally released in 1971 on Capitol records this album instantly achieved cult status and sits in well with bands such as Damnation, Power Of Zeus, Grand Funk and other early '70's US long hair heavy rock bands.

    • How about this as an art concept.

Garrett Lund - Almost Grown (US Psychedelic Rock 1975)

There is a fantastic songwriting with a cosmic timeless feeling. Garrett's falsetto voice and singing is beyond words and the guitar leaves you crying on the right or wrong day. Cover artwork is one of the best artistic statements ever made for a record -- an angel mother breastfeeding a baby in cosmic space, the losing milk drops from her breast are forming a milky way. CD release contains 5 bonustracks and bio of Garrett."

Jesus Christ, that is the best 'thing' I have ever read. I'm quitting my job.
