Muscle metallers...

    • There is a band in the US that base all their songs and image on working out at the gym. I can't remember their name. I posted a link here but that was some time ago. They are very serious about what they do. It was one of the funniest things I had seen in ages.

I’ll see if my friends can remember.

    • How about Chris Jericho?

I believe Hulk Hogan once offered to play bass in Metallica after Cliff Burton died. Lars did not call him back. IMAGINE THAT!

    • Oh yeah..two weeks ago I had to make an emergency phone call to Heavy Metal Jim while I was in a pub because I could not remember Kane Roberts name….I needed to know ASAP.

    • check out arnocorps. they're amazing. i'll say no more but they're incredible.

i'm currently leg pressing a quarter tonne and can bench press a fully grown welshman so i guess koresh are now 1/5 muscle metal.

nyhc bands are all body fascists as well.

eugene robinson from oxbow is fucking huge and a cage fighter. harley flanagan of cro mags fame is pretty cut as well and is into kicking ass.

that's all i can think of for now. they'ms all in my list of people to beat up.

    • They are good BA, but ideally I'm after classic metallers, not sure why but it's funnier somehow and more pure...

Mazz, sounds like a winner maybe... ?

      Chris Jericho has a band?

Holy shit, that is amazing about Hulk

    • He does, called Fozzy. They started off doing classic metal covers, he's got quite a voice on him. Their original stuff is pretty cank, though.

Peter Steele from Type O Negative is a big bugger, but then he came out of the NYHC scene. And is a nazi.
    • MarekMarek
    • Chris Jericho is in, brilliant.

Pete Steele yeah, he was in my original list. I guess he's right wing but then so are a load of metallers sadly. Did you ever see his Playgirl 'spread' pretty funny...

    • Cronos from Venom...not at the start admittedly but he really bulked out after he left Venom initially and I did hear he was working in a gym.
    • DonnyDonny
    • was gonna say Fozzy/Stuck Mojo but got beaten to it.

    • I quite like Type O Negative
    • MazzMazz
    • So do I.

Although I have not played an of their stuff for ages. So I might not like them anymore...who knows man! who knows.
    • OllieOllie
    • I listened to them a couple of months ago...Bloody Kisses. It was ok, not amazing though.

    • fair play mister.

alice cooper had some pretty big guys on guitar. i heart pete steele. i don't think he's a nazi. i think he is a fucking pisstaker, but defo not a nazi.

dexy's used to do weights together, but they were always more lean.

...and because i equate big shiny guns with muscle...ted nugent.
