Stubb mark two kinda

    • I'm going to record some more tracks very much with the same feel as Stubb but it's going to be just a studio project for now. Im hoping to get some recording done in September once I've had my holidays and work at festivals completed etc Got a couple of tracks written now that I quite like, might stick some acoustic demos up soon.

    • Good news, that 3 track demo is superb

    • Hopefully got a trippy wicked rhythm section help me too:D

    • I was gonna ask if the line-up was the same...

    • well aarons in Ten Ton Tabby now and I've not seen Isa for ages so I figured I'd just do it myself and enlist some help. Not sure if this will be called Stubb but it'll be the same sort of thing, a load of songs in the same kind of vein. I can move it on a bit into where I would have gone had we stayed as a band.
First priority is to record some tracks and I'm thinking I'll do it to a good quality so I can possibly get it put out on label this time. I'm just desperate to get something out there. Cujo is still going on though and we have plans to record too but its a very different sound.

    • Looking forward to hearing the stuff Jack. The 3 Stubb tracks are cool. Played 'em to Pete last night and he likes it too so we're up for some jammage.

    • MORE STUBB! MORE STUBB! MORE STUBB!
"Road" is one of the best stoner tracks I've heard in ages, it has to be said.

    • I wrote a new track last night, just trying to sort the lyrics out. I'm getting about 5-6 songs together, enough for an ep.
Think I should keep the name as Stubb? Isabella has now moved back to Austria and Aaron is in Ten Ton Tabby. Use same name or something new. Any thoughts?

    • If you want to do some recordings/play live and include some of the tracks you did as Stubb (V1.0) and no-one else minds, why not stick with the same name? You were getting some really positive feedback that people might remember. Seems a shame to waste a good reputation.

Thinking along those lines, I pretty much wrote the tracks but we worked as a team. Id like to have more back catalog than one ep

    • I might do Road (slight return) for the next release:D

    • we tried playing that in ST...why didn't we do it LIVE???

      as an aside

i've adopted the whole singing the guitar line thing you do for the PURPLE RAIN style intro to the NEW KORESH TRACK, "airborne sumo (fuck your mum)". it sounds RAD.

we won't be playing it on sunday because morrell's a nobber.

but anyway, the stubb influence LIVES ON and is channelled through my spazzy little fingers and tight little ringpiece.

      thank you jack.:lips:
