Hmmm. Not too bothered about dio era and won't be at download this year anyway.
shame as I love the experience of going to Donnington every year. Apparantly they're listening to the forums this year and making sure that stages are closer together and campsites are nearer to the arena. Bet they won't get rid of the fucking one way system though if it goes back to the original site.
As we're not going to Download (will be in Miami - WOOO). Might go to reading instead. I'll feel lost if I don't go camping at a festival at least once in the year.
Go to Bloodstock like me, you big ninny! I know they haven't got all that shite you love like Seether and Alter Bridge, but there's Satyricon, Candlemass, Katatonia, Amon Amarth The Haunted, Apocalyptica, um... Saxon?
I would rather see Dio era Sabbath than the shambles that is Ozzy today.
Saw the original line up at Download in '05, still probably the best live band I've ever seen. They were loud as fuck, ripping through the early stuff and Ozzy was surprisingly with it and was rocking out like the madman of old. Could well have had something to do with being at Donnington, but I hear the US tour they did after that was pretty shambolic, so swings and roundabouts.
