Right, as I've not heard much on here about it, I thought I'd jump the gun and post about it.
Mantra Night, 7th November at Fiddlers Elbow, Chalk Farm. Probably £4 in.
It's us (Koresh), Grifter and some other bands I don't know about yet.
It's also going to be my 30th Birthday a few days later so I'm starting the celebrations early. We'll also have new Koresh shirts that have to be seen to be believed.
There's also a pretty spanking gig the following night (although flights depending, I'll either be on my hols or watching Alter Bridge in Brixton), so no reason not to come down and get loaded over the weekend.
Personally I'm shitting it, work collegues have found out about it and shall be wandering over to the gig following a leaving do. So I may be jobless afterwards.
I was planning to come and then I realised that's the night I'd promised to take the missus to Sigur Ros in Bristol assuming I can get guesties. No guesties for Sigur Ros and I will be at this.
Looking forward to seeing Koresh, I'm digging the Myspace stuff.
The other bands are Ahymsa and Souljacker who have a bit of a Clutch/Led Zep vibe. We plan to rock hard and drink Guiness
Mamba - You'd better tell your missus to go fuck herself that night, how could you even consider putting Sigur Ros before the mighty rock of Grifter and Koresh?
recently my sister has been making a lot of pictures on ms paint of stuff bumraping other stuff. when i told her we needed a design for a shirt she volunteered to do us one. i wanted an angry eddie stobart lorry doing the bumming personally.
she's fucking thick as shit so it's more altruism on our part. charity if you will.
