   • Friday; Meetin up with a ladyfriend at the Captains Rest, then heading to Stereo to see the White Hills, cannot wait...starts at 11pm til 3...awesome.
     Saturday; jammin then whatever wildness that follows.
     Sunday; gig with Orange Goblin
     
     Should be stellar.

     I was drinking Sherry last night. Started at 4am as i was not tired at all (again).
     
     Also had a bottle of copper dragon ale. that was nice.

     And you can't knock Sherry. Only problems is it's like pringles, once I open a bottle of sherry I can't stop until it's all gone.

     I figured that seeing as one glass of sherry sends people to sleep it'd work for me, instead it just made me hot and sweat a lot. Of course i had a few glasses of it..

   • just when I thought things couldnt get any stranger , my own MOTHER is talking about Straight Edge to me on MSN.
     She says apart from the tattoos and hardline street beatings ( and presumably the generic music and shows ) she feels its a movement she would feel entirely at home in.

   • Because we didn't play Cardiff, I went to our work do, celebrating 150 years of the paper, free food, free BOOZE! Was well fun, gambled away loads of pretend money on roulette and marveled how many people were scarily into it despite the cash NOT BEING WORTH ANYTHING, not even prizes? Good night though, everything was free, even managed to get there and back on my train pass

   • I got to sheffield last night in first class for free. got to station to find a platform full of people waiting for a delayed train and couldn't be arsed to fanny about. Taxi home i had one of those inspirational ideas, a couple of lads were after a taxi back to chezzy, i arranged one from mercury for the three on us to make it cheaper, and when they dropped me off i gave then the usual £20 as none of us knew how much it'd be to then drop them off, so basically i saved them money but to myself.
     
     Really should have taken it steadier last night as today i've been rough as fuck, struggled to roll out of bed to the footy, which was depressingly bad once again, then got home and died on the settee all night. Was looking forward to the gig at casbah tonight but just felt too shit to venture out, not even to drive there.

    • Had a few beers and battered a Lord of the Rings RPG in Co-op at my mates house on Friday. Good geeky fun.
      Civilised get-together at mates girlfriends house on Saturday that turned into a proper 'pass out on the couch at 8am whilst doing shots of rum' type affair.
      Felt like all hell on Sunday so, went to Nando's for chicken. Nice.

    • i ended up going out last night and felt it this morning so i mixed some aspirin in some orange squash and some vitamen c and downed it. Then did 5k on the exercise bike. Seemed to work

      I'm currently drinking my only beer in the house, bottle of kopparberg, i'm trying to make it last but seeing as i've just got home from work i somehow doubt it'll last that long.
