    • I've just seen this on BBC News - I couldn't believe it when I heard the name of the band. I hope they're okay.

    • Reports are no life threatening injuries but that the driver is in a pretty bad way. Fingers crossed he pulls through.

    • Where was that about the driver Si, not seen/heard that myself

Glad I got to see them at corp after deciding against travelling to Birmingham or Manchester last month.

Thought to myself when I saw the coach outside corp on monday it's fancy/colourful, a little on the old side though. Not that that has anything at all to do with why it crashed.

Looks like it failed to make the turn at the junction on the wet road. Says on one report that the weight limit on the Hill it came down was 7 tonnes.

Might upload the photos from monday to fb now after all, they used colour coded lighting in corp to match the albums the tracks were from, no tracks played from the two eps unfortunately.

Hope everyone pulls through ok, and it's not long before they're back on the road again. Saw on one link someone's got a broken arm and leg, perhaps that's the driver.

    • It happened about 3 miles from where I work..I heard all the emergency services race past. They would have just missed dropping right into the canal.

    • a good job it happened in daylight given the emergency equipment that was there. Says they were alerted by a witness too.

    • more info on the bbc site now, including from the first witness on the site, that wasn't on there when I read earlier on.

    • "The passengers with less serious injuries are understood to have been assisted at a local resturant, where they were given cups of tea by staff."

I fucking love this country. "Shit! Bus crash! Give them tea!"

    • :D Classic, probably with a dash of whiskey in there too.

I heard that when arriving on the scene one of the people who were found to have multiple fractures was singing Take My Bones Away.

    • Baroness says:
The band members of Baroness and their crew are recovering from injuries sustained after their tour bus crashed outside of Bath, England early on Wednesday morning.

John Baizley has broken his left arm and left leg. Allen Blickle and Matt Maggioni each suffered fractured vertebrae. All three remain in the hospital as of this writing. Pete Adams has been treated and released from the hospital.

Three of the five crew members who were on the bus have also been treated and released. One member is still undergoing testing. The driver of the bus remains in critical condition.

Please stay tuned for further updates. Thank you for all the support during this extremely difficult time.

    • A little more serious than it sounded yesterday then. Gonna be a bit of a lay off for the band by the looks of it.
