      The plan....

first ep - suck on the grooooove

      1. Theme From Sharkbite City (it ain't pretty)
      2. Ay, That's The Rub
      3. Hot Damn, Woman
      4. Missing Lynx

no more than 6 minutes in total.

      second ep - T & A

      1. Hot To Trot

I've been working on some far out drum beats. Kev is talking about dimissing three of the strings from the bass...I like that idea.

    • We are a part of the TALENT ROCK scene

Here's a brief insight what Kev nicked from today's issue of the Guardian, that shows how "now" Talent Rock actually is.

"Talent Rock was born back in 1999 with over achieving Wiltshire based 2 piece THE WINSLEY FOUR - their "Rock & Roll Tree" EP dominated the rock disco and club scenes for many months and even scratched the vast expanses of the Billboard 100 for a week but media pressures and general animosity caused the band to split soon after but few other bands were able to deliver the same intense musical experience and since then the style of Talent Rock has lain dormant for many years. However, ten years on and with the current financial and social climates this important aspect of sonic culture has now been thrust back to the fore. Bands such as Shytte Hotte and Sharkbite City are passionately bringing the dirty, vitriolic genre of Talent Rock back to the table. Talent Rock is best decribed as the unity of pure musical force - there are suprisingly strict rules applied however - no band can have more than two members (three is allowed if the 3rd member is an asian female), no song can be longer than two minutes. One of the other traits of Talent Rock is one of total sexual fuelled aggression, something that reportedly split The Winsley Four back in 2000, although their press officer vehemently denies this, even to this day. One of the members of Sharkbite City, the apty named Le Grande C*nt has been quoted as saying "Talent Rock is back and this time it's here to stay. Put that in your newspaper before I throw shit at you".

Sharkbite City will be releasing their debut EP "Suck On The Groove" in October this year. Get it before it get you."

    • That's unbelievable. It's even got the customary Guardian typos. Amazing.

I believe Anubis Dolomite falls in the talent rock bracket (2 perverts, one is asian) so we should totally get a Guardian write up too.

    • Hotte Shytte are a two piece. Not sure about the band members names, but one of them is on vocals, and the other plays guitar and full drum kit.

    • ha ha! That reminds me of a Level 42 video where Mike Lindup jogs behind his keyboards whilst singing 'running in the family'.
