   • We maybe putting an offer to buy in today on this little cottage. We went for a 2nd viewing yesterday. We will need to rip out the insides and make it FANTASTICAL.

     English convention dictates that I should purchase a house...for what reason I am still unsure as i don't want to have kids and feel settled etc.
     
     Wild craziness and the rule of easy style dictates rent a Chapel and see what happens. That's more me really.

   • Tough call my man, the cottage with the chapel is awesome but on the other hand the house is nice and buying a house now with the market the way it is means you could be quids in when it picks up in a few years time.
     
     Plus when you buy a house you don't have to worry about fucking stuff up with fag burns...etc

     me and juggers are toying with the idea of continuing to rent in the uk, buy in aix-en-provence/st maxime/st tropez, let other people pay off the mortgage and move there once my french is up to scratch.
     
     only way to go is ez style.
