   • Has anybody in sheffield/rotherham/barnsely got any furnature they're wanting rid of? we've been scrounging left, right & centre but we're still on the hunt.    • Hmm, I wonder if there is a "freecycle" type website that covers your area? We have one here in London and I use it all the time to get rid of things I no longer need.. I list it on the freecycle page, and then people collect the item from me - easy.
     
     I have a cat radiator bed/hammock type thing going if anyone wants it?

   • I have six absolutely vile dining room chairs in metal and blue plastic that you can have free if you come and get them. I appreciate, not the most tempting of offers, but it's out there!

   • most of my furniture came from the skips around Ecclesall / Rosedale road last year but you might have to wait till early July to find decent stuff.
     That tends to be when the landlords chuck all the stuff out.
     Last year I found an ikea computer desk , full length mirror , comfy office chair , toaster , kettle , blender and 40gb hard drive all in mint condition plus all manner of shelf units and coffee tables.
     I just missed out on a PS2 and a mega drive sadly, my mate got them.

   • Has anyone ever actually succeeded in signing up for freecycle. I hope i'm typing this legibley as i've just put my head through the computer screen after an hour of frustration in trying to sort out an account. What's the fricking deal with having to sign your life away just to view what is essentially an online freepaper!
