If anyone has room in their heart for a Tanglewood hollowbody that I'm flogging, please let me know.
It's a nice piece of kit and I've only had it a year. I'm getting rid of it because I can't really play it, therefore, finding it hard to justify taking up the space in the flat as an ornament/conversation piece.
Tone range is pretty unbeatable and it's quite tough as well so will withstand a fair battering.
No major dings on it at all and it's only been used in anger 3 or 4 times. most likely 3. definitely 3. It is, however missing the round numbery bit for the tone knob, but that's just dressage anyway, you can still turn it easily. Some cunt must have had it away. Probably that dick who was doing reverse press-ups in Coventry.
Comes complete with 6 strings and maybe a padded "gig bag", depending on how we do postage/pick up. Has a choice selection of stickers of places i've never been and bands i don't really like on it too so you can truly represent your ecleticism and personality through those and let everybody know how cool and deep you are.
PM for negotiation of price. I got it new for £180.
9hz aren't responsible if I just send a poo in a box and start a new life in Spain with your money.
it certainly does. tell you what sunshine...i'm due a trip up your way at some point so we can do an early morning session at the "bowl". unfortunately for you, i'm gonna be "fruitbooting"! If i bring my midnite aXXe, we can probably come to a mutual arrangement/tryout operation.
plus, i'm not bothered if the regent isn't powerful enough for the special k. the telecaster and shit distortion pedal aren't really powerful enough, but that's what microphones are for!
Im up for an early morning sesh at the bowl, been a while. Sounds like a plan. If you run the amp lower volume so its not breaking up too much you should be able to whack a distortion pedal through it for some mean tone. Miking it would sort that. I just had trouble as if you turn it up full whack with a pedal as well it breaks up too much
well you know when you overdrive an amp you get that lovely sound where there's natural distortion, that's why people get amps like old Marshal Plexis as they give that real warm blues tone. Well this amp does that real nice but if its turned right up loud and a pedal is also driving it even further, the tubes overdrive so far that that they cut out ever so slightly every now and again, a bit like if you had a faulty lead or something. So you need to keep the volume away from 10m and it'll do just fine. Just use the PA to boost it loud enough for gigs. I got a proper metal tone out of it using a distortion pedal rather than a big muff. Make sense?
