      Not necessicaliy... My laney 50 watt was brutally loud out do a 100 watt marshall any day... But yeah Jack's amp is more subtle 50 watt number nice retro sound though.

    • Not mine was all bass end... perfect for doom... the gain sounds kinda ruibbish but as are most amp distrotions... But no clean sound is way bass heavy... if its good enough for sabbath and Mistress like. Although mines up for sale cause I don't doom no more... after a nice combo. I hate marshalls... I am still suprised how you and Kev made them sound so good.

    • i've played through dong's marshall and it sounds great. i'll be playing it again tomorrow...
      
      i've also never really got on with marshalls to be honest, but if you take all the midrange out and whack the bass and treble on full, cut all reverb and set lead gain to about half they sound grand. them's my magic settings.
      
      i don't know if anyone else likes them though...to be honest i don't know shit about amps/guitars/tone/dynamics/music.
