     Monday - not strictly the weekend, but more interesting than my actual weekend. Two gig craziness. Torche at The Regal followed by The Hold Steady at Oxford Academy.

   • Tonight: Big shop, then headline open-mic in leafy Farnham, second gig in a row with manflu voice, hopefully sell more cds.
     Saturday: Get up late, brave hordes in search of Xmas tree and a new hi-fi.
     Sunday: Laziness, countryfile, erect tree, housework, then Nick and Emily over for din dins.

     Sunday: Hangover, regret, self pity, and sleep.

   • Change of plan for Monday. Isis/Torche is now in the small room at The Academy so less running around for me. Although its a bit of a pain that you can't move between the two rooms.
     
     edit: I am also on day 2 of giving up smoking (again). 3 pints at lunchtime and a painfully boring afternoon at work do not help the situation.

      Tomorrow - Meet my mate Dan at high noon for german sausage and lager. Then catch the bus to Eastwood to see them host FC United. To the pub for the United v Sunderland game. Then to the offy to pick up booze for JAMMING
      
      Sunday - Hangover. Feel sorry for myself

    • today i've been to my uncles to retune his car stereo again, the cd wasn't working so he took it to the garage and they disconnected the battery to sort it out, so over to me again.
      
      I got all the stations tuned, then i removed the faceplate and couldn't get it back on again, finally after 1 hour decided sticky tape was the only option and at that point i realised the aerial had come out the back of the unit so i spent a further hour trying to put the aerial plug back in using my inspector gadget arms as the lead had no give in it meaning the unit needed to be in the slot while doing so.
      
      My uncle wasn't helpful insisting that it worked perfect before i touched it even though prior to my problem he said he'd had problems getting the faceplate on before. After a while he phoned the garage and found out it was broke all along.
      
      I'm finding out why besides him having 19 grandchildren they don't do anything for him anymore meaning i'm getting the odd jobs.
      
      tomorrow i'm probably going to the OMAHB gig, and sunday Isis before work. That's about it for my w/end.

    • Yesterday: got back from Chicago at about 9am in the morning, had a snooze. Into work for a couple of hours then went to our staff party. It was quite impressive, basically a huge marquee with a big bar, huge dancefloor, dancers and we had our meal with plenty of booze etc. There were lots of different companies so lots of nice ladies. I wore a suit and got told I looked like I had money haha
      
      Today: Chilling
      
      Tomorrow: might go for a skate
