    • WHAT? WHAT?

This makes me very uneasy. It could all end very badly.
    • mambamamba
    • Obviously most of them are dead but its still going to be aaaaawesome!
    • JackJack
    • hmm I've got some footage of them on dvd, I'm not so keen. It misses some key members, obviously with them being dead and all
    • mambamamba
    • I still like the new lineup, but kind of in the same way I like Kid Rock, so I can understand its not for everyone.
    • JackJack
    • It's all a bit over sentimental for me, you get Ronnies brother singing etc but it's all a bit meh

    • New Skynyrd still rock..it is a bit over sentimental that's true but they still rock. They just need to get Atemus Pyle back in the band. Not playing anywhere near me though...that's probably because I live in the arse end of nowehere.

    • Manchester Apollo on the Saturday night is verrrrrry tempting. Grew up with tonnes of Skynyrd, old and new.

    • Is it £3000 a ticket?
    • mambamamba
    • £40 plus extortionate booking fees. Eek!
    • alanalan
    • Is that for all of them?
    • mambamamba
    • That's London. So probably a bit cheaper everywhere else.
    • JackJack
    • screw that!
    • mambamamba
    • I'm struggling to drum up any interest so will either have to go on my own or drag the missus along which would mean paying for 2 tickets. Double eek! At least she can drive home though!

Isn't he in jail for 'playing with the children' and other various badness?

I saw them years ago in Hammersmith Appolo... was enjoyable, but I saw BB King around the same time at the same venue so skynyrd kind of paled in my memory somewhat compared to that show.

I believe he may have done something slightly untoward with some younger members of the female population but along with Trivet Wingo he is the finest named man in rock.

hmmmm...i heard he didn't and his ex-wife truly fucked him over by saying he did...i don't think he did any bird for it, but he is on the sex offenders register in the us.

didn't he also get shot at by a farmer when he went to seek help after surviving the skynyrd air crash?

      an unlucky man.

      love from a skynyrd nerd.
