   • Heard this last night. Final member of pretty much my favourite band ever gone. Sad times. I hope he enjoys the big jam session in the sky. I was always glad to know that Mitch was still around bashing the drums in awesome jazz rock style and apparently he was playing in a Hendrix tribute band up until recently. He looked like a cool cat RIP

   • I'm now thinking for one of the gigs I put on next year I might now make it a bit of a Hendrix Experience tribute, so every band has to cover one song from the band in their set.

   • People do often overlook Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell because they were in a band with Hendrix and people often lose sight of the fact that the whole band was amazing and as much as Hendrix was an awesome guitarist he, along with the band created some amazing songs, some of the more mellow tunes are amongst the most beautiful I've heard.
