      KHUDA
Josticks are lit and Once Twice Thrice kicks in with old style 70's guitar. I keep thinking I'm in a club somewhere, surrounded by dry ice, making my way through the drunken throng. Altered states, this is good. Floating down a long corridor. Everything's spinning. Slightly nauseous, but only because I'm having a good time.

      HIGHER COUNCIL OF MARS
Creating a sound akin to the Earth being pulled into a black hole, HIGHER COUNCIL OF MARS are an oppressive, psychedelic & volumous experience. Originally formed as freeform drone noise two piece "The Pink Mummies" purely to piss people off, a recording came along (with songs written three days before hand in one practice) and the decision was made to get a little more serious. Following the inevitable name change, "The Council" went on to get gigs around the north west of england, deafening and perplexing people where ever they went... The recently recorded new material exhibits the misery-soaked riffs, crazed vocals, pounding rhythms and dynamics HIGHER COUNCIL OF MARS have been working towards. The Council have recently gone back to being a three piece with their never ending search for the perfect bassist falling flat on its face. any interest parties please get in touch... Currently looking for more gigs and willing to travel far and wide to deliver their unique brand of doom-core come see us live this october!!!

      FLATLANDS
Flatlands started off as a wisp of heather floating on the breeze of a bright Spalding day, then it rained and we got washed away in the river until we got snagged on a branch on the cusp of the Witham, since then we’ve been writing songs that reflect our damp, snagged human condition. We like to play shows so please put us on in your locale. We have recorded our first full-length album , scheduled for release in the summer on the ever-supportive Sound Devastation records, this features our unofficial 6th member, Mr Timothy Holehouse esq. who you should also listen to.

      ELECTRIC MUD GENERATOR
Electric Mud Generator are a band forged predominantly by aberrant particulars. An experimental attempt to land the first delay pedal on Mars with the honourable intention of remotely controlling it from Earth (by inputting all passing sound frequencies between the two satellites and feeding the result back in a quantum loop, thus creating a gravitational pull to our lab in Ilkley – duh!) failed miserably, when we forgot to install batteries before lift-off.
Now, we specialise in performing music and drinking Real Ale. We try to play psychedelic space rock but we love to groove... We like to riff, but we love to indulge – life throws few harder choices at humanity than this, we readily assure you. We’ve played with bands ranging between Gonga, Tetchi, Pelican, End of Level Boss, Humanfly, Gentleman’s Pistols and Eric Sardinas (!!), not to mention a considerable sum of Leeds bands whom we love and cherish as brothers (or sisters), over the course of about four mildly sybaritic years.

    • We'll not be playing this, Si has some sort of VOMITING bug that we think Big Tom Khuda is carrying, as I got some last night but am ok now.

Sorry to HCOM and Khuda, we really wanted to come and play this time. We'll try and come over in February for when our album is out.
