   • We're looking to sort a few gigs for around the beginning of December down south!
     
     Was just wondering if anyone had any ideas of places that are good to play and if so any contact details for promoters. Or if anyone would be up for putting us on themselves?
     
     We are a two piece instrumental heavy/proggy band from Leeds for those who dont know (www.myspace.com/khudamusic).

   • As a band of 4 years nearly, we've never played Brighton, Portsmouth, Cambridge or anywhere south really, we've done London a few times, Bournemouth and thats about it.

   • We'll cross each other in passing on the M5 as you guys all try and come down here and we try to get ourselves up there.
     
     We may be able to sort something in Exeter, think we can get a venue for free, small place but pretty cool with a PA...don't like it over loud though as they get complaints but we've played there a few times and cranked it. Would have to get a couple of local bands on but not sure how much of a guarantee we'd be able to get you for petrol money, depends how many bodies show up.

     Hmm the only place I can think of is the Mantra nights @ The Fiddlers Elbow in London. Message Ahymsa about that one.

      In London, try the following:
      
      Mantra @ Fiddlers Elbow, Kentish Town
      
      Dublin Castle, Camden
      
      Lark in the Park, Islington
      
      Unicorn - Kentish Town (ish) - They are putting on an all dayer in December which my band is playing, they are still looking to fill some slots.
      
      Bitter End - Romford, good place to play if you don't mind sharing the night with either an NME indie band or the like, but they are doing "metal/Heavy" shows again.
      
      The promoter KBY puts on a lot of doom/stoner tyoe shows in london. They are always worth a look.
