     Even Street Survivors is a real dip in form. First four albums are great though.
     
     Good to actually listen to these songs in the context they were written rather than on some Greatest Hits (like I've always known their songs).

      I know what you mean, I was raised on their reformed stuff and the odd old live bootleg.

      Stop laughing at the back.... any 70s retro-obsessives/ rock archeologists dismissing the Teutonic trailblazers on their nightmarish stadium-creaking, leather capped, skullet-disguising monstrosities of the 90s and beyond need to dig a little deeper. Their early releases are a world away from that cack.

    • Led Zeppelin - Celebration Day. One of the greatest live albums ever made, I think I may review this as it's not too often you get a truly great live record along these days. Interesting that Zep never made a truly brilliant live record in the 70s when everyone else was doing so, instead they left it a long while..... but it's so worth it!
